After Year-Long Renovation The Richard Nixon Presidential Library Re-Opens Oct. 14

The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum will re-open Oct. 14 after a year-long renovation with a three-day event featuring two of Nixon’s grandchildren at the opening ceremony. The updated tech-savvy museum features interactive exhibits, an exact replica of the Oval Office, and an original Norman Rockwell portrait of Nixon. The home where Nixon was born and the helicopter he used for his final trip out of Washington D.C. are still there, and now visitors can take selfies at the desk in the Oval Office and immerse themselves in the life of the 37th president.
