A rise in hate crimes and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community has inspired many to come together in support. According to local advocacy group OCAPICA, there were 66 reported hate incidents against Asians and Pacific Islanders in O.C. between March and November of 2020. Here is a growing list of businesses, individuals, and organizations participating in the #StopAsianHate campaign. Proceeds will go towards providing the local AAPI community with much-needed resources, including meals for the elderly and at-risk populations.
