Montage Laguna Beach Raises The Bar With Upcoming Sonoma Wine Dinners

Some resorts are just special, and Montage Laguna Beach has always been top-notch for me. The coastal elegance and wildly warm staff enhance the luxury experience with personal touches rather than stiff formality. The experiences Montage create—be it an evening cocktail, a community fundraiser, or a quiet dinner with wine—always leave me longing to extend my stay.

Studio, Montage’s acclaimed restaurant, has long been a wine mecca in Orange County. With famed sommeliers and management including Troy Smith, a 30,000-bottle inventory, a Forbes five-star rating, and a five-time Wine Spectator Grand Award designation, Studio sets the standard for a truly accomplished and superior wine experience. I love that Montage is spreading the wine wealth throughout the resort, though, with two wine dinners on the horizon. Continuing Montage’s dedication to California wines, these two wine events feature wines from Sonoma with distinct pairings and varietals.

The first event features Campesino Cellars at Montage’s Mosaic Bar and Grill on August 30th. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner commencing at 7:00 p.m. Campesino Winemaker, Marcario Montoya, has created a brand paying homage to his family’s decades-long heritage of tending to vineyards. His Rhone-style wines will pair with Chef Miguel Ruiz’s Mexican specialties. $75 per guest, not including tax and gratuity.
