What the program is …

Miracles for Kids supports critically ill children and their low-
income families. When it comes to Thanksgiving Basket of Miracles, we focus on putting food on the table, dry goods, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and some fun things for the kids. We look to the community to support us as we take in donations and pull together assembly volunteer opportunities and then deliver to Orange County and beyond.

How the baskets are made …

Thanksgiving Basket of Miracles is taking place Nov. 23. We have volunteers bring in their cars, we load them up, and they deliver to two or three addresses. The other opportunity is Nov. 18 and 19: In the evenings we have socially distanced assembly opportunities for small groups to put together meals. We provide all the PPE (personal protective equipment), and everything is done outdoors.

How to get involved …

Email and say you’re interested in volunteering for the Thanksgiving Basket of Miracles. Our volunteer manager will reach out with more information. We also accept anything that is packaged that can be used by a family who is operating from home right now and in great need.
