Now through October 12, head to South Coast Plaza for Burberry’s Animal Kingdom pop-up, where you can shop bags, silk scarves, card cases, and jewelry as well as exclusive editions of Burberry’s leather goods, such as the Pocket and TB bags. Be sure to have Snapchat open while you’re walking through the pop-up to scan the Snapcodes which will take you to Burberry’s virtual Animal Kingdom. Tip: tapping on the toucans will unlock rewards.
In order to keep the pop-up carbon neutral, Burberry worked with Wildlife Works, whose REDD+ project in the Congo Basin is working to protect as well as restore threatened animal habitats. In addition, Burberry has set a goal for its operational energy use to be carbon neutral by 2022 as well as for 100 percent of its electricity to be from renewable sources.
