Meal Mary Recipe: JFAT’s Meal of a Bloody Mary



In our March issue, we name O.C.’s Best Bloody Marys. We got the recipe for the $15 epic drink, just in case you want to attempt it at home.



1-1/2 oz Absolut Peppar Vodka
4 oz Bloody Mary Mix (see below)
1 each Celery stalk
1 each Cooked, peeled shrimp
1 each Rasher of Applewood smoked bacon, crispy
1 each Wooden skewer or large tooth pick of pimento olive, pepperoncini and cube of Fontina cheese
1 each Jalapeno Bedeviled egg
2 TBS each Celery salt and ground black pepper combined together


Spread celery salt and black pepper around bottom of small plate. Rub cut wedge of lemon or lime around rim of tall pint glass and invert onto plate to adhere to rim of glass. Fill glass all the way to the top with ice then add vodka and mix. Place celery and bacon down side of glass, place garnish skewer across top and carefully balance deviled egg on top of the ice.



V-8 Juice 46 ounce can
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 oz Horseradish, prepared
1/8 cup Pickle juice
1 TBS. Old Bay spice
1 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper


Place all ingredients in container and whip until well combined.
