    Your story brought tears to my eyes and after watching the video it made me weep. We can only hope to learn just a little something from watching our parents. Thank you for sharing your story.

    Thanks for sharing your story. Oh how I can relate. We were once we become our parents parent. Alzheimer's took my mom too early. You are blessed that your parents made it into their nineties......what a marvelous tribute you made to them by writing about their love story!

    Gather, all you foodies. This year's Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner is hosted by Amelia and Florent Marneau at their French Bistro, Marche Moderne, in South Coast Plaza's Penhouse. At 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14, 100 lucky guests will experience a decadent five-course tasting menu that includes bone marrow tartine, duck confit, and Skuna Bay salmon, accompanied by an abundant selection of wines.
