The Ten Eligible Bachelor Photo Contest Rules
Contest runs from August 1 through September 30, 2013.
Entrants must post at least one photo and answer a few questions, as well as be a registered Orange Coast Insider (register here). By submitting photos, entrants agree to terms of publishing materials on orangecoast.com and in Orange Coast magazine. It may take up to 24 hours to view your photo.
Photos and text will be displayed on orangecoast.com. Visitors to the site can “rate” entries during this time.
The ratings will be taken into consideration in selecting winners. However, the final selection of ten finalists and ultimately one winner is made by the staff of Orange Coast magazine.
Promotional support provided by sponsor, but sponsor does not influence final decision.
Ten semi-finalists in The Ten contest will have their photos published in a Special Promotional Section in the December 2013 issue. One winner will be named "The Ten" at an event at a date in early December to be determined. This winner will receive a prize package. Finalists and winner must be residents of Orange County, California. Winner must be present at event.
In addition, entrants in the photo contest agree to these terms and conditions:
ELIGIBILITY AND ODDS OF WINNING: No purchases necessary to enter. Contest open to legal residents of the United States except family members of employees of Orange Coast magazine, Emmis Communications, affiliates, subsidiaries, and successor companies. Winners must be 21 or older.
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Orange Coast magazine and Emmis Communications assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, loss or injury resulting from participating in any contest or acceptance or use of any prize. Orange Coast is not responsible for the late, misdirected, lost, misplaced, illegible, mutilated, or postage-due entries.
DISQUALIFICATION AND PENALTIES: All participants agree to be bound by these rules. Orange Coast magazine, in its sole discretion, further reserves the right to disqualify any person for (i) violating any of these rules, (ii) tampering with the entry process, (iii) gaining an unfair advantage in participating in the contest, (iv) obtaining winner status using fraudulent means, or (v) engaging in otherwise unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or threatening behavior.
