Comfy booths, a lively bar with stiff martinis, and a chalkboard full of premium wines by the glass lure diners to this cozy dinner house darling with the feel of a Craftsman home. Prime beef gets the spotlight here, but that doesn't mean you can't get a huge Aussie lobster tail (if you can afford the market price). Desserts are straightforward—berries and cream, seasonal cobbler, chocolate souffle cake—so you can concentrate on your surf 'n' turf. Lunch service is the newest offering here – hearty sandwiches and huge salads of high quality make us wonder what took so long. No matter, just save us a seat on the charming rear patio.
