Coffee, tea or ...cab?

Oh joy! The days of turning up at your destination with a great bottle of wine for your hosts are back. Thanks to Vino Volo's arrival at John Wayne Airport there is now a place to taste wine, ship wine, or buy a bottle to carry on. This enoteca, located in Terminal B and in 11 other airports in the U.S., also serves food and packages it to go so you can enjoy a bite on the flight.

The wine bar and shop are past security so the experience is hassle-free. They stock all kinds of wine with an emphasis on West Coast and domestic wines. I have no flights planned out of John Wayne in the near future so I'd love to know if any readers have enjoyed this joint. Please comment if you've visited the wine bar and let me know what you think.—Anne Valdespino
