At Lazy Dog, Thin Mints are Still on the Menu

Girl Scout cookie sales are finished for the year―except in this special shake

Did you get a chance to try the new exclusive-to-O.C. gluten-free Girl Scout cookie before sales closed last week? It’ll be interesting to see if they give the classic favorites any competition—as everyone knows, among Girl Scout cookies it’s Thin Mints that get most of the attention.

This fact is not lost on Lazy Dog restaurants, whose Chicken Poblano is featured in the March Orange Coast. The Huntington Beach-based chain has extended the iconic cookie’s availability in an extra-tempting, gild-the-lily, value-added way. Its special Thin Mint shake ($4.95) will be offered through the end of March—and $1 from each sale is donated to local Girl Scout troops.

So even those lacking a personal Thin Mint freezer stash have a little more time to indulge—with a side of doing good. There are Lazy Dog locations in Brea, Huntington Beach, Irvine, and Orange.
