Women’s March and Wine – Where To Find a Great Glass in DTSA After the Jan. 20 Sister March

The Second Annual Sister March is Jan. 20 in downtown Santa Ana. Following the historic, inaugural Women’s March of 2017, the passion and momentum for women’s parity and fair treatment for everyone is paramount to me. Last year, I proudly marched with my two daughters, who soaked in the event with energetic, wide eyes. Instead of racing home to watch the news coverage as we did last year, I’ll treat us all to lunch—and me, to wine!—so we can talk about all the creative, interesting signs we saw and heartfelt speeches we heard.

The march is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., perfect for our lunch plans. We didn’t want the day to end last year, so relaxing with fellow marchers and glasses of wine is a perfect way to extend the spirit and energy—and to pay homage to the nearby businesses. If you plan to join the march, here are a few downtown Santa Ana locales to consider:

Dear Lacy

Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
*Located in The Roost, Dear Lacy has tasty lunch options, from loaded fries to a Korean cheesesteak. My girls will want the churro beignet! Wines by the glass are $9 to $15, with interesting options. Try the Sandhi pinot noir, a joint project by Sandhi founder Rajat Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman. www.dearlacy.com
