Top Doctors—Our popular annual listing of the county’s top doctors, as recommended by the Orange County Medical Association, along with five uplifting “How I Survived …” profiles of locals who had an interesting medical crisis, lived to tell the tale, and learned lessons and insights along the way that they’ll share with our readers.

Mexican Food Guide—Our guide to the best of Mexican cuisine in Orange County, from the white-tablecloth gourmex places to the small places that have mastered the combo plate, to the mobile loncheras serving Mexican food with high style but low overhead.

Disneyland for Locals—Orange County is full of people who count Disneyland among their first and most formative employers—including many celebs—not to mention the incomparable playground for their childhoods and adolescence. This collector’s edition will appeal not only to those with a direct link to the entity that is Disneyland, but to locals who claim the theme park as their own.

Best Restaurants—Our long-awaited list of the county’s Top 10 restaurants, including the second edition of our gatefold photograph of the chefs from those restaurants, coupled with our successful issue-launch event.

Is Orange County Worth It? Newport Beach is among the country’s most expensive real estate markets, and the average home price countywide is more than $350,000. Gas is expensive, not to mention the toll commuting takes on the psyche. But then there are those beaches, and the sunshine, and the palpable sense that anything is possible here. So it is worth it?

Small-Town Getaways—Similar to our successful 2011 Weekend Road Trips issue, which featured jaunts to Big Sur, San Diego, Palm Springs, Big Bear, and Baja within a one-day drive from Orange County, this package will take readers to five all-new destinations that conjure a California very different from the urban bustle of Orange County.

Best of 2013—Our annual, top-selling roundup of the best of everything in Orange County, presented in five categories: Eat, Drink, Shop, Renew, Play.

The 2013 Food Lovers Guide—This year’s guide will focus on the bounty, culture, and joys of Orange County’s 33 farmers markets.

The Top 10 Issue—Everything interesting about Orange County presented in an easy-to-access form—ever-popular Top 10 lists! “10 Shocking Secrets of Lifeguards,” “10 Things You Need to Know If You Live on the Coast,” “10 Women Who Should Be on ‘Real Housewives,’” “10 Creepiest Buildings in O.C.,” “10 Local Crime Scenes Worth Visiting,” and so forth.

Be a Tourist at O.C.’s Resorts—Pleasure-seekers come to Orange County’s five major resorts from around the globe, but how many of us have actually explored these world-class playgrounds in our back yard? This cover package will take you inside the local pleasure palaces for a look at the amenities, people, offbeat services, everyday indulgences, and over-the-top extravagances that are just minutes from wherever you are.

Hidden Orange County—We take readers to a variety of undiscovered local treasures, including off-the-grid clothing discount warehouses, sites of forgotten moments in O.C. history, factory-direct surfboard sellers, shooting ranges, guitar repairmen, and more!

The 25 Dishes O.C. Can’t Live Without—In days past, menu standbys were crab Louie, steak tartare, and baked Alaska. But what qualifies today? We identify and celebrate the new classics that are such favorites on local menus that chefs dare not remove them, and we tell you where to find the best: shishito peppers, flatbreads, bone marrow, truffled mac ’n’ cheese, panna cotta, budino/pot de crème, heirloom tomato burrata, deviled eggs, crab cakes, truffle mashers, crostata, layer cakes, and more!
